The Masterline Carbon Custom Handle comes in two lengths, eight diameters, offered in a straight bar or with a radius, and hundreds of rope color combinations. Despite the name, this handle is not manufactured with any carbon. It is designed for use with carbon skis or other skis with sharp edges that tend to fray handles. This handle has clear protective tubing over the “V,” and a black protective sleeve covering the braid so that when the handle comes in contact with the ski during your deep-water start, it will not fray. This is the handle I personally use, and being a Masterline; the handle is always in tolerance right out of the box.
